C Wayne Owens' Movie & TV News is a daily newsletter featuring news gathered from all over the net with the newest and hottest movie and tv scoops. It is heavily weighted towards SF and Fantasy film, but if it's news (and not just Celeb gossip) it will be here, and be here weeks before the TV News shows even touch on it.

About C. Wayne Owens
aka Seymoure

Born in 1950 in Oklahoma, C. Wayne Owens can´t remember a time when he wasn´t a storyteller. When the family moved to L.A. later the same year it opened many doors. By age five Wayne was working as an extra in movies and on TV. Shows he did include: "My Three Sons," "Leave It To Beaver," & "Circus Boy."

When he left home in 1963 he worked full time, went to school and found time to do community theatre all around the country. He studied theatre at Southwest Missouri State College and the University of Missouri-Kansas City and has performed in several landmark shows. He co-wrote and performed in the longest running live show in Kansas City history, "King Henry´s Feast" (3 years). He also took the character ("Seymoure") from that show and toured Renaissance festivals around the country for a decade.

He is a former contestant on "Jeopardy!" and toured Europe and the Middle East, headlining the first USO All Stand-Up Comedy Show, entertaining U.S. troops for the Department of Defense. He has appeared in a variety of films ranging from "The Day After," to "Linda Lovelace For President." He had been in TV Mini-series like "Gone In The Night" and "A Matter of Justice."

He can also be seen as "The Maniac" in the U-2 video "The Last Night on Earth." Where you won´t see him is in the film "Mars Attacks!" where his scene was cut. But his name is in the credits under the title "Stranger #1" so he does still get royalty checks ("What a country!")

His five comedy and music albums have been sold around the world & his science fiction/comedy radio series "Rip Jarvis of the Space Cadets" is being made into a cartoon show at this moment. "Promises To Keep" was Wayne´s first attempt at a film on his own, although he did co-write and appear in Todd Norris´ award winning feature "The Paranormal."

C. Wayne Owens lives in Olathe, Kansas with his lovely wife of 32 years (Pamela) and has an incredible daughter, Robin, of whom he is constantly proud, and an amazing Granddaughter, Brianna, and Grandson Sean, who make the stars themselves to shine.
