"The President's Analyst" Movie Review

71. The President's Analyst This is one of those movies that are really a child of their time.
You will find so many references to the America of the 1960's. The paranoia of the previous decade coupled with the "anything goes"
spirit of the 60's. This with the background of some of the slyest comedic spies ever put on film. Some folks don't get it, the pacing seems all wrong, the humor is almost British in its dryness. But, if you take it at the lovely silliness that it holds out to you, then you will have the kind of fun that the "Flint" films gave you, with just a touch of Thurber or Sheperd thrown in. Henry Lux, FBR Chief Will Geer. . . . Dr. Lee-Evans William Daniels. . . .  Wynn Quantrill Joan Darling. . . .  Jeff Quantrill Sheldon Collins. . . .  Bing Quantrill Arte Johnson. . . .  Sullivan, FBR Agent Martin Horsey. . . .  1st Puddlian (Canadian Secret Service) You may not understand how we felt about the phone company back then,
but there are a lot of the jokes here that even kids under 30 could get.
