She will co-star with Kelsey Grammer (who plays Ebenezer Scrooge), Jason Alexander and Jesse L. Martin . Krakowski is set to play the Ghost of Christmas Past. Filming is to begin in June in Budapest, Hungary, with a November premiere. ![]() Keaton's Mad Money Diane Keaton's next project is "Mad Money," which Cosmic Entertainment is producing for MGM. "Mad" is a redo of the British comedy "Hot Money," described as a female version of "Ocean's Eleven," without the bells and whistles. It is about female janitors who scheme to rob the Federal Reserve. Mutant X Will Be Changing Again Victoria Pratt, who plays Shalimar on the TV series Mutant X, told SCI FI Wire that the season-three finale alters the universe of the show. "Something so drastic has happened that no one's character is going to be the same," she said. "Everyone's life is affected after the finale. If it goes to season four, it's going to be a shocking new world." Pratt is personally undecided about returning to the show as her contract ends at the end of season three, though an offer is said to be on the table. "I've been invited back if it goes back," she admitted. "We're just waiting to hear what happens. The last episode is pretty drastic, but I think they'd have to be pretty clever in writing out Shalimar," she said. "Anything is possible, but they set it up in a very particular way." Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire The English Magazine Now! has reported that actress Rosamund Pike (Miranda in "James Bond's Die Another Day") will play Rita Skeeter in the 4h Harry Potter movie. She says "It's a dream to be in a Harry Potter movie, and working with Mike Newell is such a honor, I admire him a lot". BTW: Azkaban To Sneak On ABC ABC will present a 10-minute sneak of the upcoming third Harry Potter movie, The Prisoner of Azkaban, after the network's May 9 broadcast premiere of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Variety reported. ABC, which paid $130 million in 2001 for TV rights for the first two Potter films, is looking for ways to lure viewers who had already seen Sorcerer's Stone in theaters, on cable and on DVD, the trade paper reported. "If it makes sense to help their ratings, it's certainly not our business to tell them what to do," Dennis Rice (Disney marketing senior vice president) told the trade paper, adding that "If there are business relationships with other entities, they have their business to run." Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban opens June 4. ![]() Who's Afraid of Another Virginia Woolf? A Remake is in the works and Bette Midler, John Lithgow and Charlize Theron are rumoured to be on the short list for the cast.. HBO Offering Oliver Stone's Documentary About Castro The cable channel Home Box Office will air Wednesday a redone version of Oliver Stone's controversial documentary on Fidel Castro, after the director returned to Cuba to update the work with the results of last year's crackdown on dissidents. "Looking for Fidel" contains new material distilled from 30 hours of interviews with the Cuban leader and others in the wake of the summary execution of three Cubans convicted of hijacking a ferry with the intent of fleeing to the United States. HBO had pulled the documentary, which was then known as "Commandante," in May after Castro jailed 75 dissidents and ordered their executions. Skipping The Surviving Of Christmas Revolution Studios has had a recent setback. The studio last week was stripped of the rights to use the title "Skipping Christmas" for its holiday comedy, which debuts Nov. 24, after the Motion Picture Assn. of America ruled that the name was too close to DreamWorks' "Surviving Christmas," which will hit theaters earlier that month on Nov. 12. The MPAA also denied Revolution's second option, "John Grisham's Skipping Christmas" as an alternative. Revolution has yet to pick a new name, although "Skipping the Holidays" has been considered. Furlong Answers Crows Prayer? Actress Rena Owen has posted a couple of pictures on her website depicting Edward Furlong as The Crow. On the site she adds, "Notice the feathers on his shirt and the wrap around his hand. The feathers are part of his costume and have to do with a Native American ceremony." Below, the original. ![]() Angel: Still Tru At WizardWorld Philadelphia, Eliza Dushku stated uncatagorically that she would love to reprise her role as Faith, whether on TV, film, whatever format the Buffy-verse might continue it in. ![]()
