Listen
To The Music Of The Night!
Correspondent
Robin sent me this forwarded announcement from Bronze Beta: Rob
Kral (Composer) announces: "Fox is working with EMI in the UK in the
interest of putting out an official Angel
music soundtrack album. Also, in the last few weeks, CityofAngel.com
has hosted request taking. It's been a lot of hard work editing things
down to one CD, but the end result at this point is 76 minutes of music!
Please note that Fox is wanting it to be a soundtrack album, not a songs
album. However at this point it looks like Andy
Hallett will have at least one song, and the LA song from David
Greenwalt will also be onboard. Darling
Violetta's main titles theme is definite. There's a ton of material:
a 5 minute track devoted to 'Hero', lots of Darla music and LOTS of PYLEA
music, Fred's theme, lots of action and also heartfelt stuff like Princess
Cordellia and the music from the end of 'Home. ' " BTW: Besides shedding
his platinum locks for charity on "On
Air With Ryan Seacrest " on the 27th, Ghost
of the Robot , James Marsters '
rock band, will be playing on the Sharon
Osbourne Show when James is making an appearance next week. The show
will be taped on Monday the 26th, and air on Wednesday the 28th.

Flex
Alexander Plays Jackson on VH1
VH1
is planning to do a Bio-flick about Michael
Jackson, and Flex
Alexander, star of the UPN sitcom "One
on One," is set to portray the troubled "King Of Pop." Alexander's
dancing ability was the thing, say sources that got him the role in the
tentatively titled "Family Values." The movie is to trace the road from
Motown to Neverland.

Cease To Wonder
Correspondent
Robin sends me news. All those rumors that the WB may reconsider and pick
up Fox's recently canceled gem Wonderfalls are no more than that, rumors.
"It's not true," a network source told TV
Guide Online.
Spielberg
Remembers Munich
Steven
Spielberg's next film will retell the tragedy of the 1972 Olympics
in Munich, Germany. The Minority
Report director wants to cast Sir Ben
Kingsley in the movie. The story recounts of how 11 Israeli athletes
were kidnapped and murdered by Palestinian activists during the Olympics.
The project, written by Oscar-winning screenwriter Eric
Roth , is due to begin filming in June and European locations
have been scouted by the director himself. Spielberg will be releasing
The Terminal, starring
longtime collaborator Tom
Hanks, next.
"Pattern
Recognition" About To Lens
Peter
Weir will direct "Pattern
Recognition," a thriller for Warner Bros. Weir will co-write the film
with David Arata, based
on the William
Gibson novel.
'Troy'
Director Confident
Troy
director Wolfgang Petersen
says he was unconcerned when Brad
Pitt tore his Achilles' tendon during the filming the new epic, because
he was confident about the movie. Pitt was unavailable for weeks due to
the injury, but Petersen did not worry about the lost time and money on
the $185 million , as he was convinced he was making what would be remembered
as a classic film. He said, "What kept us going was the fact we had a great
movie. If there had been any doubts about what we doing it would have been
impossible to have gone through all this. But this is one of the greatest
stories of all time."

Will
Smith Goes Exploring
Will
Smith, it has been reported, will star in and produce a Columbia film
based on the life of explorer Dr.
S. Allen Counter of Harvard University. Now, IGN
Filmforce and The Boston Herald
talked to Dr. Counter about the news:
Dr.
S. Allen Counter
"The film
will be based largely on truth and factual things, but they do take a certain
license you know. What they proposed to me was a film based on the adventures
in one of my books on the North Pole. ... They'd use the exciting stories,
the difficulties, the problems I ran into trekking over the ice - and ,
of course, there were good guys and bad guys". Counter also says "It makes
me laugh when I sit there and listen to them (Will and producer Debbie
Allen) recreate my life. They make it seem so exciting. I expect filming
to take place 'all over,' including Greenland and the Amazon, but I understand
that they have to make such films in Canada because of costs"
Toying

Palisades

Predator figures, and plush facehugger to tie in with the release of Alien

Paris
Hilton Did Another Video?
Teen
Hollywood has the news of yet another potentially embarrassing video
with hotel heiress Paris Hilton,
this time it's apparently a British horror flick called Nine
Lives. In it the clueless blonde played one of nine friends stranded
in a Scottish manor. But, according to People magazine, the film was not
a classic in the making. It spent one night at a movie theatre, that being
during a London horror film festival in August 2002 - and received what
can only be called an cold reception. The movie is going to straight to
video in America, where it will be released May 11. Hilton only spends
10 minutes onscreen in the film, yet she is centre stage on the video's
packaging, which features the tagline, "Starring America's Hottest Socialite."
