Batman Begins " Franchise?
Warner
Brothers has made no secret of the fact that they hope the new
film will re-start the Batman series in a big way. But David
Goyer , who co-wrote the film with director Christopher
Nolan , spoke with SCIFI
Wire and admitted that he doesn`t know if he will be involved with
any sequels. He says:" I have no idea, and
I`m not being coy. Chris and I have talked about it, but a lot of whether
or not I`d come back depends on whether or not Chris comes back. And Chris
has not decided. [Nolan] just finished the film a few weeks ago, and it
really overtook his life. I don`t know if I`d come back if he didn`t. I
know that Chris is going to take some time and decide whether or not he
feels he can come back. But part of me is tempted to just do the one and
walk away, you know? There will never be another Batman origin story. So,
we`ll see. A lot of it is up to Chris." "Batman
Begins" opens June 15.

& Heroes
Exodus
Film Group is moving forward with two new CG
films, "The Hero Of Color City"
and "Amarillo Armadillo."
Color City is written by J.P.
McCormick and Rich Raczelowski, and tells of a rebel group of crayons
battling an evil tyrant. Amarillo Armadillo by Robert S. Kahn, is the tale
of an oil prospector, an armadillo and a horned toad from 1920s Texas.
Triangle
Filming For Sci-Fi
SCI
FI Channel has begun production for the six-hour miniseries The
Trianglethis week in Cape Town, South Africa.
The three-night miniseries is a collaboration by co-executive producers
Dean Devlin and Bryan
Singer . Rockne O`Bannon
based the scripton an original story by Devlin and Singer. In the show
a team hand-picked by billionaire Rice Benirall (
Sam Neill ) investigate the loss of cargo ships in the Bermuda Triangle.
The team includes a journalist (
Eric Stoltz ), ocean resource engineer (
Catherine Bell ), a scientist (Michael
Rodgers ) and a psychic (Bruce
Davison ). Further phenomenon change not only the investigation, but
the investigators as well. The Triangle will debut in December

Goes Forward
Movies
that started out to be something else have a long history of great stories
in Hollywood. "Cobra
" by Stallone was the
actor/director`s rewrite of "
Beverly Hills Cop ," and "Die
Hard With A Vengeance " was originally written to be part of the "
Lethal Weapon " series. Now Paramount
Pictures has taken the script "The Wrecking
Crew" written by David
Twohy and wants him to make it over into "The
Brazilian Job," as a sequel to "
The Italian Job ." Twohy will not get to direct since F.
Gary Gray has been tipped to return. Paramount is "
expecting the entire original cast to head to Rio de Janeiro"
for the movie. Twohy will get something else out of the deal. He has a
go ahead for his fantasy adventure script "The
Would-Be Warrior ," about a modern 15-year-old
boy who finds himself in the middle of a feud between Norse gods.

Christine
The
Hollywood Reporter says CBS
is picking up 12 episodes of the comedy "Old
Christine ," starring Julia
Louis-Dreyfus , which brings the total order to 13 episodes, including
the pilot. Kari Lizer
is the creator and executive producer of the Warner Brothers series. Louis-Dreyfus
plays a divorced mom who attempts to keep pace with everyone around her.
Thw show looks like a midseason starter.
